"The concept of Pristine Film refers to telling stories and producing films from an open and genuine perspective." Julia Schellekens graduated in 2016 at the Dutch Film Academy in Amsterdam as a Filmproducer. During her studies she followed an internship at Een van de Jongens, a Dutch documentary production company, and followed a photography course at SKVR in Rotterdam. After her graduation she founded her production company called Pristine Film and she is currently working as a freelance Producer for various projects and companies. She finished projects such as the documentary ‘Microbe Fighters’ directed and written by Dutch filmmaker Heddy Honigmann; commercials for VICE, the music video ‘Paper Plane Pilot’ for musician Sean Christopher and produced her very first children series 'Zara and the magical football boots', broadcasted on dutch television for VPRO.
