Youth Uproar Theatre Company was founded by 9 bay area teens, conducted like a Board of Directors, by the three teens that brought them all together (i.e. Leon Jones, Nora Cesareo-Dense, and Simon Bhuller Riordan). Week by week the YUTC Founding Board of Directors meet every Tuesday and Thursday to discuss simple topics like the company’s name but also make harder decisions like the 20-21 Directorial Board Selection. No matter the task, vote or presentation did each teen bring something special to the table and without it, there could never be a YUTC. So a huge thank you goes out to Tatiana Lira, Maera Klein, Zoey Ericson, Lauren Roberge, Rene Jones, and Ian Cheslukstaats. The work continues to get even elevated as our 20-21 Board of Trustees makes the hard decision of seeking a fiscal sponsorship with 501(c)(3) organization Social Good Fund Inc. Being an official project not only provides administrative assistance but also allows the company to have its donations be tax-deductible and also seek out grants to grow the company for years and years to come.
