Making It Possible to End Homelessness
www.miphnj.orgMaking it Possible to end Homelessness (MIPH) was founded in 1987 to increase local services and resources for the homeless in Central New Jersey. Based in Edison, NJ, MIPH was the first agency in the country to receive federal surplus property to address homelessness, and it developed one of the very first transitional housing programs in New Jersey. MIPH now runs a transitional housing program for single-parent families, a transitional program providing housing and supportive services to homeless individuals and families impacted by HIV/AIDS, a supportive housing program for young women who have just aged out of New Jersey’s foster care system but have no home of their own, and a Community Housing Program working to keep formerly homeless individuals and families impacted by HIV/AIDS in permanent housing.
