We’re a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit looking to help connect people across the country with public records about their local criminal justice systems. There are about 18,000 police agencies with a responsibility to make data public, and each municipality acts independently. Our staff and volunteers produce open-source tools to help journalists, data scientists, and ordinary community members find, access, and share data.
