Project Re-Direct/Youth & Family Services believes that a more appropriate response to juvenile delinquency and crime in the urban communities is not building more prisons and juvenile delinquency facilities, but economic development, job opportunities for teenagers and adults is pivotal in the fight against poverty, hopelessness, desperation and crime. We believe that a Holistic and Comprehensive family support system which provides services to prevent the abuse/neglect of children, is crucial to the development of safer communities locally, and nation-wide. We believe that all children will be valued, violence is unacceptable and prevention of child abuse will be valued and practiced by the community
