Industrial Drive Service (IDS) Inc. is an advanced, custom design systems house established in 1988. We design, assemble/manufacture, program and install DC and AC variable speed drive-motor control systems which are, in turn, integrated into wide variety of industrial applications, including metal processing lines, materials handling equipment, automation applications & process control machinery. Our electronic drive control systems normally include fully supported control panels/cabinets and operator stations for automation, film, mining and metal industries, servos installations plus many other industrial applications, such as: Coil Slitting Lines Metal Blanking Lines Strapping Lines Film Lines Winder Drives Wire Drawing Machines Printing Presses Material Handling Systems Mine Hoists Retrofits As well as being a highly specialized company in complex systems design and the assembly business, we also develop applications using PLC's. When requested, we will supply the customer with CAD drawings as a record of design support (i.e., fabrication and installation of control panels, operator stations, power/drive cabinets, drives-motors, servos, etc.). On-site commissioning is part of our full service. Typical clients include manufacturers or OEM's requiring expertise in manufacturing plants that need drive control systems and a specific control interface design operation (new or refurbished). IDS is willing to work with clients as either a new control systems equipment supplier or indirectly (e.g., a refurb consultant). Product repair and PM programs for in-place systems and drive-motor units are a major part of our growing service business, internationally.
