R2 Disassembly
www.r2disassembly.comR2 Disassembly, LLC is a state-of-the-art facility designed with the purpose of recycling end-of-life electronics in the United States. Located at the base of the Rocky Mountains just north of Denver, Colorado, our 20,000 square foot facility is outfitted with high-end lighting, specialized pneumatic tools, air-scrubbers and custom-built workstations. Our temperature-controlled environment has the capacity to process over 85,000 pounds of materials a day. Each worker wears OSHA-approved protective coveralls with HEPA-filter breathing apparatus and gloves while employing disassembly processes and procedures developed in-house from time-motion studies. The internal air is completely purified every 12 minutes, and the noise-level is significantly lower than at shredding operations. At R2 Disassembly, we employ a process called eScrap Resource Recovery 2.0TM, a process that's up to 30% more efficient than what our competitors do, which is shredding, crushing and grinding. Shredding the materials causes 10% to 30% of the items to become permanently enmeshed after which they cannot be separated into the base, semi and precious metals. This process allows us recover the highest percentage of components and commodities from eScrap. Our charter is to recycle end-of-life electronics according to R2 and ISO 14001 standards. We do not employ prison labor. We respect all international treaties and agreements with foreign countries. R2 Disassembly functions in full compliance with U.S. Health & Safety laws and EPA regulations.
