Longroyde Primary School was formed in September 2016 following the merger of the former Castlefields Infants School and Longroyde Junior School. The new school boasts a nursery provision from 2 to 4 years, (Little Longroyde) and 5 to 11, (Longroyde Primary). Longroyde Nursery & Primary School, (Nursery, Reception, Year 1 & Year 2) are based at Field Top Road, HD6 3XB. Longroyde Primary School Head Office and the remainder, (KS2) are based at Longroyde Road, HD6 3AS.
