A Christian response to homelessness! OFT’s mission is to walk alongside our brothers and sisters experiencing chronic homelessness and connect them to services and agencies with the goal of ending their cycle of homelessness and ensuring their journey back to RESTORATION. OFT is the light at the end of the tunnel! • Our Father’s Table has a solution that breaks the cycle of chronic homelessness, one person at a time. • Our work is important because it addresses homelessness at its cause knowing chronic homelessness is a symptom of a deeper-rooted problem. • OFT changes lives, by giving a hand up, not a hand out! • Our work is cost effective and it does not create another program. • Our unique whole person approach puts us in the center of their life as mentor, advocate and most importantly genuine friend, giving unconditional love and guidance. • A connection with a caring human being, an OFT Care Navigator, not tangible resources alone, is the necessary medicine to pull people out of a sea of negativity, alienation and self-destructive behavior. To put it simply…. • OFT is a Christian response to homelessness… • We are a homeless intervention program working one on one with chronic homeless. • Our care navigation program is focused on mentoring, advocating and navigating within the existing homeless service providers system. • We act as a conduit between our chronic homeless and the 200 plus homeless service providers. • We walk alongside each chronic homeless creating an accountable genuine friendship.
