The Online School of Food Design is a rapidly growing international community that helps food professionals and accomplished creatives to connect with each other in order to exchange essential skills and flourish in their practice. We’re here to empower YOU 💪 There are lots of things in the food industry that are not working; From food security and sovereignty to food waste generated from manufacturing distribution consumption and disposal; Diminishing food varieties leading to the loss of biodiversity and the lack of transparency. And lots of things that are rapidly changing as well including consumer preferences and diets ; As well as the adoption of modern technologies. And it is up to us to do something about it 👀 We look at food because food is… everything: It’s a political choice we make 2 or three times a day, it’s the strongest social glue, it’s life. And we use Design because design is the reliable scalable creative process that has the power to bring about meaningful impactful and lasting interventions. At OSFD we work with international experts from different creative backgrounds to address the biggest challenges facing the future of our food systems and to inspire change 💫 With over 25 years of combined experience in academia, research, consultancy, event production and food innovation, our founding team is here to bridge the gap between the industry, consumers, educators, producers and YOU.
