HRLA was founded by a group of graduate and medical students at CDU, USC, UCLA and Kaiser Permanente with the focus of improving health, healthcare, and safety in clinical spaces for PWUD. We are currently working on initiatives in medical school curriculum, health worker education, and developing a free clinic in DTLA to provide a safe clinical space for community members, especially PWUD.
