Church View Surgery is a 4300 patient practice with 1 male and 1 female GP, located in Doncaster and contracting to NHS Doncaster for PMS services. The practice is a top achiever in the Quality & Outcomes Framework 2004-2012, and is paper-lite & computerised using the EMIS clinical system. Church View Surgery is in the throes of applying for training status in 2013-14. Currently we teach medical students from Phase 3B at the University of Sheffield. We will soon be training GP Registrars on the Doncaster Vocational Training Scheme attached to Doncaster Royal Infirmary. 2013 saw the demise of the PCT (Primary Care Trust) and Church View Surgery is active in the commissioning process and has formed an alliance with Doncaster CCG (Clinical Commissioning Consortium) which has now replaced the PCT.
