Welcome. My practice focuses on civil and appellate litigation, but I am available for consultation on a variety of legal issues. After graduating from the UNC School of Law in 2006, I spent two years as a law clerk to Judge Linda Stephens at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. I then briefly clerked for Chief Judge John C. Martin at the Court of Appeals before joining the Appellate Practice Group at Wyrick Robbins Yates & Ponton LLP headed by the Honorable K. Edward Greene. I left Wyrick to open my own practice in Carrboro, where I have lived since 2002 with my wife and daughter. I grew up in Chapel Hill, graduating from Culbreth Junior High School and Chapel Hill High School before earning my undergraduate degree in English and History from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1995.
