KMAH Radio
www.kmah-radio.comNot for profit, community station KMAH Radio has only been rolling since March 2015 but already takes pride in the diversity of its output, which features everything from drone to afro, Latin to kwaito, techno to soul, rare dub to dark disco. Hosts include the likes of Happa, The Warehouse Project, Dimensions Festival, Bill Brewster, Youandewan & Josh Tweek, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, Bambooman, Nick Craddock, John Heckle, Outlaws Yacht Club, Tom Ellis, Semtek, Krysko, Craig Bratley, 8MANA, Beat Pete, Hashfinger, Ethyl & Flori, BLM, Mark Turner, Futureboogie and many more lesser known names but avid record collectors. A full list is on our website. We run from midday to midnight, have done parties with Amp Fiddler and some off-site live streams with Jeremy Underground from Dimensions Festival, had impromptu guests pop in including Byron the Aquarius and Jane Fitz, Brawther and Ruf Dug, Octave One, Mr Beatnik, and Brett Johnson, and have done live parties with the Boiler Room as well as securing festival partnerships with the likes of Virgo and Gottwood, award nominations from Crack Magazine and press from RA, Fact, Mixmag and DJ Mag. All this goes down from our city centre studio - pics of it, and the green room next to it, are on our Facebook, and all our shows go up for listen again on Soundcloud, with a total of 750, 000 plays and counting. We have had press on BBC Radio Leeds and in the Yorkshire Evening Post and play an ever more pivotal role in the Leeds music scene.
