Veer Surendra Sai University Of Technology (VSSUT), Burla is the oldest Institute of Orissa in higher technological education, basic and applied research. The campus of the institute is situated at the foothill of world famous Hirakud dam covering an area of 204 hectares, the early history of the University is a fascinating chapter in the story of technical education in Odisha. Established on 12th Aug. 1956, at Burla in the name of University College of Engineering (UCE).
