The Wisconsin Director of Nursing Council – Education Forum, Inc. provides education and support for Long Term Care Professionals as they enhance the quality of life for residents and staff across the Continuum of Care. Quality education and networking are vital to the delivery of compassionate care in the long term care continuum. Through our annual education offerings: Symposium, Workshop, Seminars, Webinars and the LTC Nursing Leadership Course our membership can enhance their knowledge on issues affecting the long term care continuum. The WI D.O.N. Council encourages membership for Directors of Nursing, Nurse Executives, Assistant Directors of Nursing, Nurse Manages and Supervisors, Hospice Leaders and others who represent all phases of care for an aging population. Additionally, we encourage Associate Membership for other LTC professionals and Business Partner Memberships for vendors to the LTC industry. Our organization continues to support educational offerings to nursing students who have a passion and commitment to pursuing a career in long term care through our scholarship program. Each year The WI D.O.N. Council provides $1000 scholarships to those who demonstrate this passion and commitment.
