We are a "Hub of Hope©" that connects people with a spectrum of needs to the education and resources that support meaningful, purposeful lives. We work to support individuals with ASD, other developmental disabilities, and communication, social-emotional, and regulation challenges - in our home state of Rhode Island and beyond. We do thhis by: Providing training, consultation, and workshops for parents and professionals, in Rhode Island and beyond. Running social skills groups and a summer camp for children with ASDs and related social-emotional, communication, and regulation challenges. Staffing a Family Support Team that provides systems navigation, education, coaching, and support for parents and families. Increasing awareness at our annual Imagine Walk and Family Fun Day. Expanding our ability to serve as a resource through innovative, grant-funded projects. Many of our staff are both professionals and parents of children with ASDs, other developmental disabilities, and/or social-emotional, communication, or regulation challenges. At heart, we are a group of lifelong learners. Each day, our staff seeks out current evidence-based interventions and best practices; we apply and practice them in our own homes and workplaces so that we can support families, schools, and organizations as they support children, students, patients, and community members with ASD and other developmental disabilities.
