Since 1987, the Shriver Center at UMBC has coordinated these transformative programs connecting college students across Maryland with opportunities to explore the state government and nonprofit sectors. The Maryland Public Service Scholars Programs are the Governor's Summer Internship Program, Sondheim Nonprofit Leadership Program, MDOT Fellows Program, Sondheim Public Service Law Fellows Program.
