There is huge potential for growth and a £100million capital investment programme is underway which is regenerating town centres, developing new public buildings, constructing hundreds of homes and attracting businesses to improve the economy. In the last 12 months, the Council has opened a new multi-million pound leisure centre, a state of the art care home and two new schools. A new secondary school and an education campus are currently being developed. Construction is also underway on new Council offices which will relocate 500 staff to the centre of Dumbarton and kick start the regeneration of the town centre.
