The Global Centre for International Law (GCIL) is a globally impartial and globally inclusive social enterprise, created with the objective of applying and developing international law to promote global societal aims. We provide both global community and global commercial law, policy and governance expertise in areas such as human rights; sustainable development; fisheries, food and agriculture; maritime and oceans; natural resources, environment and climate change, among others. We have experience advising at all levels (from Prime Ministers to local stakeholders), in over 90 countries and for global and regional organizations, including the United Nations, the World Bank, OECD, CARICOM and the EU institutions.
