Dick Jordan is a freelance travel writer based near San Francisco and publisher of the Tales Told From The Road travel blog (www.talestoldfromtheroad.com). His stories and photographs have appeared in the Contra Costa Times, Dallas Morning News, Los Angeles Times, Marin I-J, Oakland Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle, and San Jose Mercury News.
