Mid-States Poker Tour
www.msptpoker.comThe MSPT has awarded more than $100 Million and has grown to more than 30+ land-based events each year in casinos and states across the country. In Dec. 2009, the Minnesota State Poker Tour (MSPT) launched at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN. A year and a half later, the MSPT crossed the state border into Iowa, and before long expansion saw the tour rebranded as the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT), a series of affordable deepstack no-limit hold'em tournaments designed for "weekend warriors." From the deepstack structures to the affordable buy-ins and popular gaming destinations, the MSPT is designed to cater directly to POKER PLAYERS — those who clamor for affordable buy-ins that offer a shot at large prize pools all while offering kind blind structures that allow for patient play. Over the years, the MSPT has attracted a mix of amateurs and well-known pros including World Series of Poker bracelet winners Adam Friedman and Blair Hinkle, as well as former WSOP Main Event champs Jamie Gold, Greg "Fossilman" Raymer, Ryan Riess, Joe Cada and many more.
