Rate’nDate Mobile (Pty) Ltd T/A RND Labs is a young at heart mobile technology and SaaS innovation company established in 2006. We were one of the first companies in Africa to develop and market bespoke dating and chat services for mobile. We partner primarily with the Mobile Network Operators to bring these products to market. Our dating products have been used in over 12 countries by over 30 million people, generating in excess of 40 million page views per day. As our business grew over the years we learnt that we needed to expand and become experts in the cloud (using primarily AWS) and our architecture has evolved into SOA and Microservices. Today our development skills in building cloud native API services has evolved into exciting new verticals with SaaS product offerings in Direct Carrier Billing, Automated in-house System Monitoring, an Identity Extraction and Verification API and an App based Bot Detection and Removal Tool for Android devices. Many of these services make use of exciting new tech like AI, Machine Learning, Big Data and Cloud services.
