Firm Philosophy The following three principles summarize our philosophy: We work closely with our clients to achieve practical and cost-effective solutions for achieving our clients’ goals and solving our clients’ problems. We maintain high levels of technical expertise in our areas of practice. We do not cover every area of law, but on those that we do, we aggressively represent our clients’ interests. We are unconditionally committed to excellence in all that we do. We are selective in the clients we represent, and we develop long-term relationships based upon mutual respect and trust. Firm Client Base Our clients are individuals, families, partnerships, limited liability companies, and corporations throughout Minnesota. In many instances, we are providing legal services to the second and third generations of families. Much of our work is with family farmers and closely-held family businesses. Firm Policy Our policy is to provide more than just legal answers to problems. We know that our clients are not interested in just being “quoted the law” or being told they have a problem. Clients want practical advice, assistance, and help. We relate to our clients on a personal level and provide up-to-date legal expertise based on our collective practical experience in each of our areas of practice. When legal matters require expertise not available inside our Firm, outside support is retained from a wide network of associated experts developed over the Firm’s years of practice since 1923. Firm Fees Our fee structure is designed to be realistic and cost-effective.
