Smarter Subsea Handling is pioneering handling solutions which transform subsea development and operations in the offshore energy sector, both oil & gas and renewable energies such as wind and tidal. We address the limitations of existing services which are commonly deployed in these sectors. Our core offering is ROVAR, a unique load-bearing, remotely operated underwater vehicle which utilises a simple, but ingenious, controllable buoyancy concept to carry heavy objects through the water column in all axes, enabling loads to be safely delivered to, or removed from, the seabed, and between locations on the seabed. It also provides the ability to manoeuvre loads within restricted subsea locations such as around jacket and monopile foundations. ROVAR is versatile in design but will typically lift up to 20 Tonnes as a single unit and, by combining multiple units in master-slave arrangement or simply increasing the size of the vehicle, could lift significantly more. Our value proposition is focused on reducing operating costs and improving operational versatility and efficiency. Significant environmental gains are also offered. We have globally granted patents protecting our technology in key territories around the world.
