The TechDiversity community, is a platform for change for people within traditional tech roles and non-technical roles within technology workforces who are committed to DEI. TechDiversity’s commitment to the tech community is to inspire and empower businesses to unlock the benefits of DEI. We do this through our three pillars for change: Educate – TechDiversity Academy Implement – Free tools & resources Events – TechDiversity Awards, TD Community Connect and webinars In early 2020, Luli Adeyemo from leading industry marketing agency Best Case Scenario joined The TechDiversity team as Director of day to day activities and initiatives. Supporting Luli Adeyemo is a core committee of volunteers representing Mia Consulting Services, Method9, Newfound and MizTee. This core committee is supported by a wider team representing a number of industry groups and businesses – including Australian Computer Society (ACS), Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), Vic ICT for Women and the Victorian Government. Our flagship #TechDiversity Awards showcase what can be achieved across sectors in building diversity and inclusion. The initiative has representation from the Australian Computer Society (ACS), Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), Vic ICT for Women, Australian Women in Security (AWSN), SeniorPreneurs, and Mia. With a focus on strengthening frameworks to increase the participation of all of diverse groups within a tech workforce including Cultural diversity. Racial diversity. Religious diversity. Age diversity. Sex / Gender diversity. Sexual orientation. Disability.
