CamilyWand is a Silhouette Blind cleaning tool manufactured to remove bugs and debris from blinds and other inaccessible places. A longtime interior designer, Lynn has sold Hunter Douglas products, including thousands of Silhouettes, Nantuckets, Pirouettes, Vignettes and Shangri-La Blinds (by Comfortex) for decades. She loves the Silhouette window shadings, and so do bugs. The blind provides great insulation with a view when the blinds are down ( or covering the glass), in the "open" position. Bugs enjoy sunning themselves between the vanes, and often die from the heat, staying there until they are removed. They can get squished when the blind is rolled up into the headrail. CamilyWand is the easiest, safest and least expensive way to resolve the bug problem. Its sticky tip will pick up bugs and debris from inbetween the vanes, working continuously until it is covered in dust and debris. Washing the removable CamilyTip with soapy water ( see our video) will restore the tip stickiness for repeated uses.
