Full-time Training in Anaheim
www.ftta.orgThe Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) is a two-year program dedicated to equipping men and women for Christian service in their respective churches and communities. Guided by the authority of the Scriptures, the program seeks to: foster continued growth toward the spiritual maturity of students by encouraging fellowship with God and fellow believers. equip students in the realization and practical application of Biblical truths according to the Scriptures by the revelation of the Holy Spirit. cultivate each student’s spiritual capacity in interpersonal relationships, evangelism, and church-planting in diverse cultural settings. FTTA offers a non-degree certificate of graduation in Biblical Truth and Church Service Studies. The goals of this program may be summarized in four words: truth, life, gospel, and service. This means that FTTA provides a comprehensive theological education that will help any Christian believer cultivate: a serious consideration of the essential Biblical doctrines of the Christian faith (truth). the development of communal and personal spiritual growth in the divine life of God (life). training and experience that promote a practical Christian life of evangelism and ministry (gospel). the carrying out of practical tasks and needs in local churches (service). These goals are accomplished through multiple avenues including classroom instruction, study and research, worship services, fieldwork placements, and office hours for appointments with faculty members. The current student body of FTTA is comprised of over 300 university graduates from many countries. All students are required to obtain a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university before entering into the FTTA program. Since the program began students from over 850 colleges and universities have been represented. At the conclusion of the program, many FTTA graduates pursue advanced degrees at leading graduate schools and obtain successful positions in government, business, and academia. At the same time, many are committed to pursuing a healthy spiritual life and are actively involved in their respective churches. FTTA has produced over 3,000 graduates who continue to serve their churches and communities in fruitful ministry in many countries. In addition, 17 affiliated training centers with similar goals and programs of study have been established in places such as Mexico City, London, Tokyo, and Moscow.
