The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a non-profit educational and service organization that empowers women to succeed and advance in the field of engineering. The Society of Women Engineers at UC San Diego has been active since 1982. We host events and partner with other student organizations and companies in order to provide members with many opportunities to grow personally and professionally. Some of our most well-known events and programs are Professional Evening with Industry in the fall, our annual high school outreach conference, Envision, in the winter, and EDGE, a high school-undergraduate mentorship program hosted throughout the school year.
