The name Mvunonala is derived from the Zulu phrase vuna inala; which means to harvest or gather in abundance. Mvunonala Holdings is 100% black-owned and managed, with the owners playing an active role in all divisions. The group formed at the end of 2010 and is an amalgamation of several businesses held by the shareholders (Bongani Mhlanga) into a single, comprehensive financial services group. The group has a very simple philosophy: We do not follow a one size fits all approach that aims to fit our clients in products or services that are not in line with their needs. All our clients are treated uniquely and provided with niche solutions that add value. Our goal is to continuously grow our client base through mutually beneficial relationships with our clients.
