Chaffee County EMS provides emergency and non-emergency ambulance service for the citizens and visitors of Chaffee County with five ambulances that are licensed for advanced life support transport. Chafffee County EMS utilizes EMT-Basics, EMT-Intermediates and Paramedics to staff two full-time, Advanced Life Support ambulances 24 hours a day, with stations in Buena Vista and in Poncha Springs.
