SINAPSE focuses on discovering therapies for neurological diseases and injuries, and engineering clinical solutions. We invite highly talented and motivated applicants, who are enthusiastic about working in a multidisciplinary research environment, to apply for Postdoctoral Research Fellowship and Research Assistantship positions to any laboratory. The research thrusts and focus areas involve neural prostheses for interfacing with the peripheral and central nervous system, motor restoration and sensory feedback integrated prosthetics, cognitive science and neurobiological mechanisms, modeling brain function and building mathematical and computational models, development of technologies for interfacing to brain and for treating brain disorders, building brain inspired or neuromorphic computers and machines, in vitro technologies and nerve-on-a-chip applications, and developing intellectual property that will result in product of value to industrial society.
