Mission Statement Our mission is to provide our customers with wastewater treatment and disposal services that are cost effective, compliant with all applicable laws and regulations, and protective of the environment while recovering valuable materials from waste streams. With the world’s water resources under continual and increasing strain, there has never been a more critical time for water recycling. About Rivergreen Water Recycling provides wastewater treatment services for non-hazardous oily water. We are a fully permitted centralized wastewater treatment facility operating under Title 40 CFR Part 437, Kentucky Revised Statutes Chapter 224, and regulations of the Louisville Metro Sewer District. We discharge treated waster to Louisville’s metropolitan sewer district under our pre-treatment permit. We use physical, chemical, and mechanical technologies to remove contaminants from wastewater to allow disposal to sewer. While our focus is on water treatment at our facility, we can also provide consulting and system trouble-shooting and design in the field. Our Louisville plant is served by truck, rail, and barge. We operate a batch treatment process, so each load gets the individualized attention required to assure compliance with strict discharge requirements. Rivergreen can treat oily waste streams, including emulsified oils. Our goal is to provide responsible management of industrial wastewater streams to assure continued compliance for our customers and our facility. We pride ourselves on efficient offloading and turn around time. We realize your trucks have other jobs to do and our ability to get them unloaded and on their way is critical to cost control and operating efficiency for our customers. Our goal is to sample, approve, and unload a truck with in 60 minutes of the trucks arrival at our facility. Rivergreen maintains comprehensive insurance coverage, including environmental impairment liability.
