The label/production studio JPGotMangos was formed in 2005 in Berlin, Germany as an independent outlet for most personal indie-minded musical projects and creative collaborations of guitarist and composer Jean-Paul Bourelly. JPGM is now located in Berlin, Germany and Davis, California as final mixing for the auspicious project Citizen X is being carried out. "News From a Darked Out Room" (JP acoustic solo CD), "CutMotion" and 3KINGS “Famous Guys”, Stone Raiders sessions, the soundtrack from "The Education of Auma Obama", and his latest album "Kiss the Sky" were all recorded and produced in the facility. Tracks that have come out of the hub have featured such artists as the late great griot singer and poet Abdourahmane Diop, drummer Will Calhoun, bassist Darryl Jones, Burnt Sugar, bandleader of Defunkt Joe Bowie and bassist Jamaaldeen Tacuma. email: info@jpgotmangos.com
