What do you do when there is no model to copy? We are Idiotes. We think that 'imagination & creativity' are the main ingredients for the postnormal era. Designing in a context where facts are [uncertain], values are compromised, interests are high and decisions are urgent. We provide opportunities for finding solutions to challenges in society. We play a balancing act and simultaneous chess at the same time. We are prototyping between the ‘no longer’ and the ‘not yet’, together with our partners, other actors and across disciplines. We are a group of normal people doing special stuff. Optimistic stuff. Playful stuff. Innovative stuff. Idiotes cares about collaborating with others, cares about improving good practices, and cares about making a change in the world. The key members of our team are very different. One is very intuitive, one is very analytical, one is very sensitive, one is very associative and another one is the glue. Idiotes is an initiative of Marieke van Dijk. Idiotes works with a small core team and a solid network of multidisciplinary talents. With them we share our vision on open collaboration.
