SFG was founded in 1993 and is a subsidiary of WERTGARANTIE Group, based in Germany. SFG is leader on the market of warranties' extensions and after sales mass consumption technical appliances sold to private individuals: electric household appliances « white products », image, HiFi, multi-media « brown ones »; computers equipment « the grey ones »; wandering, photo products and air-conditioning equipment. It is a member of the FG2A (Federation of warranties and affinity insurance).
