The Limes Community and Children’s Centre provides a second home for the children and young people of Walthamstow. From toddlers to 25 yrs, we celebrate the diversity and nurture the potential of all our beneficiaries. Since 2004, The Limes has provided a safe space where disabled and non-disabled children, can play and work together, where difference is valued and everyone participates. Disabled children can make friends and build relationships, while young people can learn valuable skills We run pre-school play groups, after school clubs & youth clubs. We provide individually tailored plans to ensure that our young people are reaching their full potential. We also run Creative Journeys - a programme of skills based learning, designed to prepare our young people for employment - barista and culinary training, gardening, craftwork, woodwork, art and much more.
