Optimit is a vendor and technology independent Security Firm, specialising in Security Consulting, Engineering, and Management. Optimit was founded in 2003, and is managed by its two founding partners Inge Vandijck and Francis Van der Staey. Anno 2011, Optimit is a multidisciplinary team of 10 consultants with various educational backgrounds and expertise; criminologists, industrial engineers, IT experts, economists, safety and fire experts, police backgrounds, cabling and communication experts... Optimit is licensed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (wet van 10/04/1990 tot regeling van de private en bijzondere veiligheid). All security consultants have NATO clearance. Since the launch of the company in 2003, Optimit has obtained a strong position in the security market, and advised customers in both the private and public sector in various industries. Such industries include; the diamond sector, the museum, church, archives and libraries sector, government, critical infrastructures, industry, transport & logistics, finance and engineer & contractors sector.
