Mission: The St. Martin Advisory Council (the “Advisory Council”) is a group of young professionals who are committed to raising awareness about Cristo Rey St. Martin College Prep (“CRSM”) and our many programs through fundraising events, volunteer opportunities and social activities. The Advisory Council was founded in 2011 with the mission of supporting the students of CRSM by advancing the vision of the Board of Directors to make college preparatory education a reality for youth from the Waukegan and North Chicago community. Mission The Advisory Council vows to enhance the educational activities of the CRSM student body, both in and out of the classroom. The Advisory Council pledges to leverage their personal and professional affiliations to bring employment and economic support to the students of the entire Cristo Rey Network through support of the Corporate Work Study Program (“CWSP”) and various fundraising activities. The Advisory Council further commits to be involved with the students by providing professional real world experience and advice to expand students’ knowledge of the diverse professional opportunities beyond high school.
