Over 30 years of experience in design, planning and construction of a wide range of projects in Alaska and Colorado with a focus on energy efficient and sustainable design. Project of note: Carbondale Recreation & Community Center built in 2008 was certified LEED Platinum, the highest certification for energy efficiency and environmental design. Member of the American Institute of Architects since 1974. Instructor for the Green Building Academy at Colorado Mountain College, teaching Building Analysis and Energy Auditing for the Building Performance Institute, and Certified Green Professional courses for the National Association of Home Builders University of Housing.
