Innovation in a Week is a fast paced, multidisciplinary event in which designers and entrepreneurs are challenged to transform a patented technology into a magical and marketable innovation. Participants are supported by business developers, brand specialists, marketeers, patent attorneys, engineers, and the IIAW team (www.iiaw.nl). In a joint effort we create patented innovations that are technologically feasible and supported by a strong business case. The innovations are pitched to an audience of investors at the end of the week.The winning inventions and the best entrepreneurs are selected to develop spin-off companies, supported by IIAW's structure and resources.
