Our Mission: To connect women impacted by domestic violence in the River Region to survivor resources. Our Vision: Our working vision to establish Women of Refined Gold as the River Region’s trusted and valued leader in increasing awareness of the causes and effects of domestic violence. To this end, we foster positive relationships of sisterhood through interactive workshops, group support, community service, summer and mentoring programs that promote the development of positive social, ethical and spiritual decision making skills. WORG is committed to helping women in the River Region who are impacted by domestic violence see that they are valuable and reach their full potential. (WORG) exists to bring awareness and the tools urgently needed to those who fall prey to domestic violence in the River Region. After experiencing over 10 years of physical and verbal abuse our Founder, T’sharin Moncrief, escaped from her abuser, became a survivor, and set out on a path to ensure no other woman or young girl would have to experience the life and the effects she once endured.
