The Dext team came together in 2009 with a combined 30 years’ industry experience. We push the boundaries of current technology to create heat recovery systems that work hard for our clients, and for the environment. Dext technology brings powerful yet sustainable performance, lowers energy bills, recoups heat (to be used again), and reduces emissions. We are committed to attention to detail and best working practices. Fully conversant with all current legislation, we are able to offer a complete design process for heat recovery technology, so we can create bespoke systems to optimise performance for each individual client. We developed a bespoke pillow plate heat exchanger for one restaurant, which protects the area around the chargrill and absorbs the wasted energy to heat hot water. The result? There is now a DexTherm in every Nando’s in the UK. Dext has since developed an exciting new ‘heat harvester’ called the DexThermic that sits in the restaurant’s extract air system and captures the energy lost in cooking and heating the space, in order to use it again for heating and hot water.
