RenoSafe Homes LLC.
www.renosafehomes.comNo place can compare to the comforts of one’s home. As the famous saying goes, “Home is where the heart is.” As people age, their homes may no longer provide the safe and nurturing environment they once did. At the same time, though, older adults often wish to remain in their homes for as long as possible. Research has shown that individuals who remain in their homes have better quality of life and demonstrate greater well-being, as opposed to those in residential facilities. However, most older adults require home assistance and home modifications in order to allow them to remain safe and healthy in their homes. RenoSafe Homes is committed to improving the safety of individuals in their own homes, as well as promoting access and independence. Whether one faces the challenges associated with aging or a disability of any sort, we can help by providing extensive services individualized to fit the unique challenges of each individual. A licensed occupational therapist is on staff to perform detailed home assessments that identify possible safety hazards and fall risks, in addition to strategies to improve accessibility and promote independence within the home. Sometimes small changes can make a huge difference. We perform home modifications that include adding railings, grab bars, handheld shower faucets, walk-in bathtubs and showers, leveling floors, replacing knobs with levers and pull handles, removing tripping hazards, widening doorways, improving lighting and ventilation, moving objects to more accessible heights, adding tactile cues, and much more. Additionally, we offer two options for ramps, including permanent ramps for long-term use or ramp rentals to improve access to one’s house for short-term disabilities.
