Cook.Eat.Explore is run by Kathryn Heitkamp, the voice and force of nature behind the blog. Kathryn is passionate, irreverent, swears like it’s her job in person, and does the best that she can to keep it out of her writing. Much to the chagrin of her mother, she's still working on that. Cook.eat.explore is a lifestyle, food, and travel blog that focus’ on finding the beauty in the every day, reaaaaaaaly good food, chefs, and exploring the world. Having grown up on the West Coast, Her focus currently is exploring and experiencing the Midwest and Eastern side of the country via road trips, exploring through, in, and around the towns and cities She's only ever read about. Kathryn brings with her an innate love of hearing and telling peoples stories, a degree in psychology, and a BIG love of bringing people together.
