Economics Masters Program: EMJMD QEM Models and Methods of Quantitative Economics
www.master-economics-qem.euThe EMJMD QEM Models and Methods of Quantitative Economics Program is a 24-month, 120 ECTS, full-time research orientation master's program for practical applications of advanced methodologies and models in economics, with scientific courses taught in English; culture and local language courses offered by partner universities; and mobility between two or three universities across Europe. We finance and equip talented and motivated students with engineering skills in economics to conduct original research and be internationally employable in academia (Ph.D.), companies, and organizations (e.g., Banking and Financial sectors, NGOs, Governmental entities, Insurance, Industry, and more). This program is run by the QEM Consortium, composed of 5 universities: The Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain), Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium), the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France), Ca' Foscari University of Venice (Italy), and Warsaw School of Economics (Poland). The two-year Master's Course aims to enable excellent graduates to successfully deal with complex economic problems across international and cultural boundaries. It offers two orientations of high-level research in economics: a) to those who intend to continue in a Ph.D. program, and b) economic engineers with competencies in bridging research and practical issues, identifying problems, and proposing relevant solutions.
