Paperweight is the Jewish community’s "Citizens Advice Bureau", providing free practical support to anyone in crisis in the community. Such crisis may result from bereavement, separation and divorce, or by those suffering from physical or mental abuse, or from chronic illness as well as the daily trials faced by the elderly and the infirm. Its services are delivered by an extraordinary team of volunteer caseworkers whose professional knowledge and experience helps to provide guidance on financial, legal, banking, debt, bureaucracy, welfare and benefits amongst others.
