In 1997, members of the UAW Local 1853 agreed to help sponsor the credit union with the goal of creating a more beneficial and sensible solution to meet the financial needs of the membership. Because of their hard work and initial investment, the credit union continued to thrive. In 2005, The Credit Union Charter was changed to a community charter serving anyone living, working, worshipping or attending school in Williamson or Maury Counties. Family Advantage Federal Credit Union has two locations. The Spring Hill (main) branch is located in the heart of Spring Hill and less than two miles from the General Motors Manufacturing Facility. The Spring Hill branch is located at 100 Stephen P. Yokich Parkway, Spring Hill, TN 37174. Our second location is in the historic district in Columbia. The Columbia branch is located at 615 West 7th Street, Columbia, TN 38401. The Credit Union offers savings, checking, online banking, personal loans, home equity loans, auto loans, credit cards and home mortgages to its members.
