We at TechScouts are a specialized recruitment agency that focuses only on vacancies in the software development environment. We know there isn't exactly a shortage of recruiters trying to reach out to our target audience, which is why we decided to do things in a slightly different way. Here is the list of basic principles we use as guidelines for our daily work: 1. Every LinkedIn, Github or Stack Overflow profile we come across actually gets read by a person, which means we mostly approach people only for jobs that provide a good match (on paper) with their knowledge and background; 2. We never make phone calls unless we have an appointment to call and we don't use work e-mail addresses to approach potential candidates. If you are not interested you do not get stalked; 3. We insist on meeting people in person. It simply doesn't make sense to match a company and vacancy to a candidate without finding out out who the person behind the profile is and what their ambitions are. No introduction is made without at least a meeting for lunch or drinks in the evening; 4. We will ask for your explicit permission before sharing any information about you with anyone and repeat this if we think it makes sense to work on multiple vacancies for you. They are simple guidelines and most of them may seem like common decency, but anyone who has been around in this field for a while will know that our adherence to these rules makes us an exception.
