ROX is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is the emerging national leader in programming, research and education focused on girls. Our mission is to create generations of confident girls who control their own relationships, experiences, decisions and futures. We do this by: 1.) Implementing evidence-based programming for girls; 2.) Conducting relevant and innovative research focused on adolescent girls; and 3.) Educating the community on issues impacting girls through professional development workshops for educators and counselors and adult-teen relationship building workshops. We believe that we must simultaneously impact girls, educate and support the adult influencers in girls’ lives, and improve the societal conditions that have the potential to negatively impact girls.
